Google Pay

My pixel is set up for Google pay. I keep it in a wallet which has slots for other cards. Would they be interfering with Google pay, because it doesn't seem to work ??

Almost certainly - both physical cards and your phone use NFC tech.

... and having Google Pay should mean you can leave your cards at home anyway.

I have two id cards for work which I keep in a double sided card holder and I find to use either I have to remove it from the card holder as they are too close together and interfere (oooer) with each other. Same principle.

Just to confuse things even more now the app is now called Google Wallet.
