Just packed up my upstairs sky Q mini box and as far as I understand it - these create a mini mesh system alongside the main Q box.
Now I’ve removed it - the fire stick I use on that tv is struggling to get a WiFi signal from the router downstairs (1 bar if at all).
What can I buy to boost the signal upstairs so I can use the firestick properly?

I think a fan in the room often helps direct the Wi-Fi signal further towards the fire stick, and especially helps it flow around corners etc.
Uhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Whut?I've heard some things, but that's a first. Am I due a woosh? or are you.
To the OP
As someone said, try a HDMI extender, other than that if a mesh type thing worked before, that'll do it now.

Who is your broadband with and do they do a mesh system that you can plug in and help?
If not consider purchasing a mesh wifi system to improve the wifi in general around the house. TP Link stuff on Amazon is usually a sensible bet, make sure you get something where the base unit isn't limited by a 100Mb ethernet port.

I've had good results with TPLink wifi extenders, about £15 from Argos.
Currently got a second Wifi router in the loft, connected to the main one by an ethernet cable.
It's just an old router/adsl modem from a previous contract.
Other things to try include looking at what's happening on what channel in case the issue is your signal being shouted over by next door or something.
HDMI cable extension is a good call, had to do that to get any sense out of a Firestick. Do other devices like tablets get enough wifi to give good video?
