Number of phone rings

My old Moto G phone works fine except that for incoming calls the ringtone only rings twice before going to voice mail. Callers have told me they hear the ringing tone 4-5 times.

I've had a look in settings and can't see any obvious cause, and haven't change anything.

It's probably something simple (me), but how do I put this right?

Try clicking the 'phone' icon (looks like an old fashioned handset)
In the search box on the right press the three dots, and a settings option will appear. Select settings, then select voicemail.

Dial **61*121*10*nn#
Press call

Replace nn with the number of seconds before incoming calls divert to voicemail. Minimum is 5 seconds, max is 30, must be in 5 second intervals.
