So back in the day this was used to back up all photos and vids from the camcorder.
I plugged it in yesterday through the vga port but it’s not displaying any signal.
How can I get the pics off the hard drives to back up to Amazon photo’s.
I don’t have a PC now but there is an old laptop floating around the house.
Or can you get graphics cards for the microserver where at least I can plug it into a monitor with dvi or hdmi ports.

Can you connect to it over the network?
That's how I run mine, headless.

A cheap low profile graphics card will work. That's assuming the microserver's working and it's the vga port at fault.
Alternatively - if you're not going to use the microserver - pull the drives and stick them in a usb dock. £20 on ebay.

Can you remember how the drives were setup? Pulling the drives might not be an option if you setup RAID.

I think I may have a Sata to USB device as I was looking for a VGA lead and came across something which I can’t remember having

Windows Server 11.
Anyway E sata to Sata lead doesn’t seem to work in the old laptop.
Not sure if i plugged in the server via Network plug if it would show as a network device or would it get stuck at the boot screen ?

Pah just pulled the old big computer down and connected the drives to that and backed up all the stuff to Amazon now.
