I'm looking at getting a KVM, to enable single screen/kbrd & mouse to use with 2 laptops

I've already got a spare logitech wireless kbrd & mouse - model is a K360. Is it possible to get a KVM that will use a wireless kbrd/mouse or do they all need cabled stuff?

I don't know the makes/models of the laptops as yet, as I'm starting a new role in a week or so

If anyone can recommend a good 27" monitor that would be great too

Cheers

If you plug the wireless receiver into the USB port of the kvm you should be able to use the mouse and keyboard.

Can you just RDP from one laptop to the other?

A docking monitor may also be an option. I currently flip between a usb c connected laptop and a usb a connected desktop through a hp docking monitor. It has hdmi for the desktop and the laptop does display port through the usb c cable. Keyboard and mouse can be changed over by pressing a button on the monitor. It is a little fiddly so probably not the solution if frequently flipping back and forth but fine for sharing say a personal device for evening/weekend stuff and a work laptop during the day.

Thanks Colin - RDP won't be an option as each laptop will be for a different company -the docking station idea may work though. although I'll need to wait and see what makes the laptops are
