My contract with TT ends in August and they sent me an email giving various renewal options, I am happy to stay on the basic 35mb fibre package as that is all I need so I rang today to confirm this. The customer service person said they had called me on the 8th July to confirm my upgrade to 65mb fibre (they may have called the landline but would have not spoken to me as there is no phone connected to the line and MAY have left a message but I would not know that) So today they asked me if I wanted to keep the 65mb upgrade, no I don't. Now they can't make the change I want to my account until they have cancelled the new fibre upgrade so I will need to call back next week.

Sharp practice? Anyone else had this with TT?

When I call next week if I don't make much progress I will ask for a copy of the recording of the phone conversation on the 8th July (that never happened!)
