Are there such things? Been looking at some where the marketing photos are gorgeous, but user photos show not-quite-so-impressive reality. The ones I've found do indeed have a tiny physical bezel - maybe 3mm, but when powered up the picture doesnt reach quite to the full edges, resulting in maybe 1cm of black all around.

I think you may be right, in that they don't yet exist.
Thin bezel screens like Dell's S2417DG probably the closest.

I have two of those HP monitors (model 27fw).

Theyre good work monitors for me. In reality there's about 7mm between the edge of the usable area and the body limit.

Also no VESA mounts. They were cheap and light enough for me to 3d print a VESA adaptor and use a 2 part epoxy resin and bond to the back though.

If there were no bezel the edge of the screen would be extremly vulnerable to damage so it's highly unlikley you'll get a domestic screen with absolutely no bezel. The cubes used to build up videowalls are bezel less & they get sometimes get damaged when building the wall.

I bought this matching pair of Acer screens quite a few years ago, so I'm bit surprised I cant find anything that's a heap better in terms of 'infinity edge'

audio nerd tip - ideally you'd put the two speakers such that the tweeters are on the outside, rather than one nearer the centre on one and further away on the other.

Yep, curved ultra wide monitors are the solution :-)

This would also be my solution...but I keep waiting for their next upgrade, to OLED or something, so never actually pull the trigger (same for the new Alienware QD-OLED) wink

If you had three monitors the bezel wouldn't be right in the center where you focus most & they might feel less intrusive. At the moment it's dead center of your eyeline.

Been thinking the same, I'd need a longer plank !

The asymmetry alone would do my head ine and the OPer is complaining about the bezel which is dead centre! biggrin

I don't think that's going to the most expensive part of the upgrade though! Personally I find ultrawide curved monitors like working through a letterbox but it depends on the programmes you are using.

I found the same when I had one, felt like a downgrade so I sold it on
