Afternoon all,

I have a really frustrating problem on my phone, and googling doesn't turn up anything even remotely useful, quite possibly because I can't think of any real way of phrasing the search that gives the results any sort of helpful focus.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with the Samsung keyboard. This is generally brilliant at doing predictive typing and spellchecking in all the languages I use on a daily basis, so I really don't want to have to change if I can help it, but when I'm typing a long-ish email in the Outlook app, the text gets to a certain point and then just stops scrolling, so I'm effectively typing blind!

When it does this, I have to manually scroll the text to get to see what I've just written, and when I start typing again, it promptly jumps back to hiding the last couple of lines I've typed again! It does work, but it's really bloody frustrating, as I can't see what I'm writing as I write it!

Does anyone have any thoughts on what might be causing this and how I can fix it? I've looked through the settings in both Outlook and the Samsung Keyboard, and I can't see anything immediately obvious in either that might influence the situation.

I can't really help but could you type the message elsewhere and C&P into the box?

That's a possible workaround option. I'll give it a try to check that typing elsewhere doesn't come up with the same problem. I don't think it does, but still to be checked. smile

I would like to find an actual solution as well though, as otherwise it's going to bug me forever!!!
