Fttp availability

Hello,

When I check on Sam knows it shows that fttp is available at our location (postcode ca12 4td) but no service provider seems to provide it. We get about 22mbs down / 5 up via talk talk at the moment. The upload speed is a bit of a problem if both of us are working from home.

Any thoughts on how I persuade someone to provide the theoretical fttp availability, please?

Are you sure Sam is correct? Do any neighbours have it?
We are on FTTC at the mo, but Openreach have been laying the fibre optics in our road over the last few days, and they’ve said six months til we can have it, maybe longer. Perhaps you’re waiting to be connected?

Build date is between 2021 and 2026 which is obviously a pretty wide window. There's also a list here if you can identify your nearest exchange
