Having a clear out and have a couple desktops, laptops and phones that are rather aged, but would rather not just throw on the tip; are there any companies that do a disposal service as presume there might be some scrap value? From my google there are one's that do this for companies rather than the individual, so any suggestions welcome.

Thanks.

My next door neighbour is involved in https://www.twam.uk which started with old workshop tools but has progressed to include old IT stuff.

I've donated quite a bit of stuff over the last few years. When the company I worked for had a load of PCs to dispose of TWAM took all 46, refurbished them and shipped them to Uganda. When the company actually closed the local office building staff had the option to pick up stuff up for free so I managed to get 6 monitors for TWAM.

I've sold pretty much all my old phones on eBay. I didn't realise how many we had until we had a bit of a clear out/tidy up.
