Recommended holders / stands for iPhone filming?

I like to make some indoor videos (ooh err) of generally static workbench based youtube videos. My iphone pro is good enough at this. But pissed off with not having anything suitable that is adjustable and can be manoeuvred for different shots as required? And can hold it it properly (I’m always cobbling something together and then it slips etc).

Any things I could buy, not expensive pro stuff just Ebay / Amazon / aliexpress etc. Any pointers?

I do have a decent camera tripod but no iphone fitting at the top for it so even that I tend to be balancing my phone on it at strange angles. Don’t know if there are any compatible items that can be used with camera tripods?

We use one of these at work for recording tests for overseas clients. A "grabber" at the top, a moveable arm and tripod base.

If you have an iPhone 12 or 13 with MagSafe, you may find it more convenient to use a magnetic holder (example: https://cvp.com/product/joby-jb01752-bww-griptight...)

I'd also recommend checking out an app like Filmic Pro for shooting

And a decent mic like an AT USB2020+ USB with iPhone USB adapter, or even a wired lav mic

I've got one of these for my phone and it's fine. No need to spend 2 or 3 times more if you are just doing static shots. I use it with my existing Gorillapod.

Ah - I have an 11 as well for work and that's not MagSafe - other great suggestions here though!

Initially I’ve just bought the one tycho above linked to. I will look at mics too. Probably some YouTube vids are available on that I suspect.

Hmm now looking at ‘rigs’ which look kind of good, but half of them seem to be bad quality too! And acres of plastic etc. I know, I’m typical I want him quality at low price. But some of them are clearly going to be junk.
The joby brand above looks decent for tripod

Edit decision made. I’ve cancelled the single cheap mount from above and ordered the joby 1k + joby gripmount for £51 altogether.
