I’m going round to watch the football with my father-in-law tonight. He has Sky Glass. I have the BT Sport App which I pay for and will be showing the match in UHD tonight. My original plan was to access the BT Sport app from his Sky Glass, but I gather that’s not possible. Plan B is to take the Apple TV box that I access the BT Sport App on round to his house and lash it up to his TV via HDMI. A bit more hassle, but there’s no reason why that shouldn’t work is there?

Hi,

should work a treat. I have a Sky Glass with an Apple TV connected via HDMI - no issues at all.

I don't think it's in 4k but it's free to watch on YouTube also

Will it be obvious or will there be a signup required to view?

No, it’s not in 4k on YouTube. BT are obliged to show the finals for free, but they do it grudgingly in SD.

That’s exactly what I wanted to know, thanks. I’ll rip it out of my TV and take it round to his.

Seems to be in 1080p on both Youtube & BT Sport freebie on my Fire TV- which is nice.
