My employer has given me £1000 to spend on office supplies. We need to use it by the end of the year.

I already have a comfortable chair. Adjustable desk. Foot rest. Two large monitors. Decent laser printer and book cases.

Not sure what to get. What would you buy??
Even if I get a spare chair they want it spent.

TIA

You said large monitors, not insanely large. If you've run out of space for more screens, then a coffee machine?

An excellent, really excellent

Router - £200
NAS - £400
Wifi system - £200
Security camera - £150

All perfectly justifiable

Then

A lovely A4 leather folio for show! - £50

How's that!

spare PC/server/backup?

Consider a new monitor if they are getting on in years.

Tablet?

Spare phone?
Software?

Filing/storage?

Agree - Good web cam with a sharp focus and nice exposure compensation, a light ring to sit behind the camera, then a decent mic with a pop cover and a nice sounding speaker

Can spend your free time publishing on YouTube/Twitch Onlyfans as well biggrin

assuming i already have what you have...

- DSLR to use as a webcam.. that'll be £400+
- some really nice active speakers, a nice dac. £200+
- really good looking mechanical keyboard that you could pretty much have for life £100+
- a good mouse for £80 or more
- as others suggested, a wide screen monitor with good response time and high refresh rate, that'll be good for gaming + photo editing
- expensive multi socket
- a bunch of external HDD enclosures
- bunch of cables, and multi card reader thingy
- LED lighting, smart lighting. one of those smart/LED table lamps you can infinately adjust the colours

If you are using them as dual monitors on one system, then straight to https://www.dell.com/en-uk/shop/dell-ultrasharp-43...

If you have two single monitor systems, then same recommendation, but buy two.
