RAM upgrade advice
Discussion
Hey,
A little over a year ago I purchased a HP Pavilion gaming PC just for playing basic games and using other software's.
I'm not much of a PC whiz kid or a hardcore online gamer like I used to be 20 years ago. So I believe to be partially rusty.
I've been playing Planet Coaster for a while, I really enjoy the game. However, expanding my park is causing a lot of lag, or at least the frame rate is slow. I've moved on to doing other sandbox creations but I would like to get more focus back in to my main park.
Speaking with a work colleague, he suggested I upgrade the RAM. I'm currently using the factory Samsung 8GB 3200AA DDR4, I have one other slot available to which I was going to replace with 2x similar aftermarket versions.
I have picked out 2x 8GB CORSAIR Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16 Rams.

The question is, would this be the correct install?
PC Specs:
Desktop: HP Pavilion TG01
Processor: Intel core i5 2.90GHz
RAM: As specified above
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
Thanks in advance.

I always use https://uk.crucial.com/store/systemscanner to check what upgrades the motherboard will take. You don't have to buy from Crucial, but it will tell you what your options are.
HP Pavilion TG01 covers a lot of computers - for example https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-pavilion-gami... - there is probably more to your computer's part number.
If you've got one 8 GB DIMM, I'd just buy another one of equal or greater speed. Modern memory controllers really aren't terribly fussy about memory being identical. Something like https://www.amazon.co.uk/Crucial-CT8G4DFRA32A-Desk... should do the trick unless you actually want the blinky LEDs?

Thanks for the link, It said my desktop can take up a maximum of 64GB of RAM. I don't particularly want to exceed anything over 16GB for nowbut it's a very nice tool to use.

On viewing the system it says it's a TG01-1XXX so what number represents the 'X' is beyond me. I'm not really fussy in terms of what's going in the desktop, i'm more after quality of the product rather than what the design looks like. CORSAIR was just an example for the thread If you've got one 8 GB DIMM, I'd just buy another one of equal or greater speed.
