Anyone use them? I was previously with Three and signal was ok. Moved to Lebara couple months ago. It is now awful and the data is beyond a joke. They are meant to use Vodafone but I feel it is heavily throttled.

We've been using Lebara for about 6 months, and had no issues at all. Before that, I was with Three and had all sorts of issues with speed and reception.

I think it's just heavily area dependent tbh.

Been with Lebara for over a year now on the minimum £5 a month tariff. It has been absolutely brilliant, far better signal than when I was with EE and for half the cost.

I've not noticed any throttling; mobile is significantly quicker than our dreadful broadband. Signal has been good everywhere I've been. Been with them for just over a year. Cheapest plan (I'm tight).

Plusnet just informed me they are closing their mobile operation and I'm free to move.
I found Lebara to be the cheapest currently available for my needs.
5GB data unlimited texts and calls for £1.98 for 1st 3 months then £4.95 for the remaining 9 months plus £10 cashback through TCB.Done via Uswitch if anyone is interested

MSE is worth checking for offers for anyone wanting to switch. I paid 1p/month for first six months then £5.90/month ever since. I get 5Gb data (5G), and unlimited UK minutes and texts. I’ve been with them two years, my wife three, and neither of us has had any issues. The price has also never increased, another bonus.

My wife and I have been with them several years, without significant problems. Their customer service is way better than Vodafone. You always get a helpful human.

We spend a lot of time out of the country and it roams well in EU. We are not big users and the basic £5 - 5Gb plan is plenty for us.

Same here, I have been with them for years now and only ever paid £5 and get 5GB which is plenty for me. They also have free Europe roaming and I have used it all over Europe with no issues.

Whenever anyone I know moans about the cost of their contract I recommend Lebara and none of them have ever had an issue.

Had 3 Lebara SIMs but moved 2 to Smarty for higher data at a cheaper price. Kept one for the 100 international minutes.

Only issue with Lebara was Facetime/iMessages delayed propagating on activation. Took a few days to come through. Had to get Customer service and Apple CS involved.

I travel a lot with work and I specifically went with Lebara because they say on their marketing that Switzerland is included… It isn’t. You have to buy a bundle to make any calls or get data. I currently have a complaint in with them which is being ignored

Oh bugger! I got a Lebara SIM for exactly that reason - we'll be in Switzerland in 3 weeks time and GiffGaff don't cover it. I now need a Plan 'B'...

Talkmobile. Vodafone signal (owned by Vodafone). Roaming includes Switzerland but as with all their roaming it is subject to a 5GB fair use limit.
