Or whatever this years equivalent model is.
Wouldn't be without mine. 20+hr battery life. Best active noise cancelling out there.
I’ve got a pair of them, money well spent! I’ve got some of those in ear ones as well for short flights, the battery only lasts for 2 hours before they need putting back in their box.Or whatever this years equivalent model is.

Anyone tried the Huawei anc USB c earphones?
I don't want Bluetooth cos charging is a pain in the arse
I had an earlier version that just used a standard(ish) 3.5mm jack and a USB recharging cable. The other half had a Huawei phone that would power them so I lost them to her. They were very good and you could use the noise canceling without playing anything. I tried them in the a car and it was although you'd turned the ignition off. The ear bud design was different to the one you ask about but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of them. They where comfortable and well built.I don't want Bluetooth cos charging is a pain in the arse
I didn't respond in the frivolous thread as the purchase of my headphones was not frivolous.
I had been looking for some mid range over ear headphones with bluetooth for a while. I tried the Bose QC and found they placed an uncomfortable positive pressure on my ear drums. So they were off the table.
Passing though Auckland airport I tried on the Skull Candy Crusher 2.
None in stock so I waited for the next big airport.
None in Singapore, I finally found some coming through Heathrow on the way back home at a discounted price of £99.
40 hours of battery life (I've never tested them that far but I've never had a problem with them on a long haul flight), bluetooth, passive noise cancelling. Often I'll wear them on a flight with no music on as they really do shut out almost everything. Super comfortable for the duration and never any sore ears as they sit fully over your ears (unless they're massive I guess).
There is a stupid superbass slider on the left speaker, no need to go past a quarter as it really does kick the t!ts out of it.
Microphone included so you can use it for phone conversations if you ever choose to.
Great piece of kit, I just wish they had come in a hard case like the Bose. No damage to mine keeping them in the pouch but I always keep them in the top of my carry on bag.

I used mine for 3 hrs today on the train. Wouldnt be without them. The gesture control and music muting / or rather letting the outside world in works really well too.
I feel like a plum when doing so, but they actually work really well as a handsfree calling solution too. The 4 ANC microphones are also used for calling and they work really well.
Yes, really looking forward to getting them. They are arriving on Saturday and we go on hols on Sunday, so perfect timing. I used mine for 3 hrs today on the train. Wouldnt be without them. The gesture control and music muting / or rather letting the outside world in works really well too.

I don't think those TaoTronics ones are actually noise cancelling earphones, the adverts read that it's the microphone that's noise cancelling, so presumably that means that the person you are calling doesn't hear any wind noise.I think these TaoTronic earphones are the noise cancelling ones, but they are not bluetooth.

I recently bought some Bowers & Wilkins PX headphones, only used them for about 5/6 hours, and so far absolutely love them! They are expensive (£320!) but I managed to get them for £250 tax free at the airport in a sale.
Its weird walking around town listening to music on my way to work, you feel like you are in your own little bubble. like the rest of the world is on mute, you see everything, but no sound. Sound cancelling is pretty impressive, really good at removing background noise on planes/ traffic / road noise. but with the 'voice pass through' is pretty impressive at letting you hear someone talk to you if you need/ want to.
only down point is the soft pouch thing they come with. its nice, but think with the price of them they could really do with a hard case for putting them in your bag.

Registering interest here too as after some reasonably priced in-ear ANC bluetooth earphones. Had various chinese ones as a mix of ANC (wired) and non-ANC (bluetooth) and been impressed for the money. Now wishing to combine both qualities.
The Leophile Eels I have are great but non-ANC. Am tempted therefore by the Zeros if anyone here has any views.

I got my taotronics Bluetooth anc ones today that I linked in the frivolous thread earlier in the week, I hadn’t planned to buy them but decided to try them out based on how the wired ones have been so far.
They arrived today and very impressed so far for the price! Feel solid and sound quality is good, the anc works well even without music playing, it can be turned on and off so I tested it with my large fan running which is quite noisy, when turned on you can’t hear it.
The earbuds fit very well for me with the default rubbers, but they provide various others in case they don’t fit well.
Would highly recommend them!
Those other taotronic noise cancelling ones someone linked above aren’t real ANC I don’t think, it’s just the microphone for calls as far as I’m aware, as someone mentioned above.
Here is the link to the German site where I ordered them (I live in austria and they use the German one here) for some reason they aren’t on the uk site right now?

This is a link someone posted in the frivolous thread that’s handy to check prices of all amazon sites, you can check the USA one for more reviews if you like:
