What's a reasonable charge for a month's water supply at a vacant/unoccupied single unit shop premises?

Anyone?

Would that be some kind of 'standing charge' even if there's no meter ? (It's an unmetered supply)

If you don't have a meter it will be a fixed annual cost, used to be called water rates. What it costs totally depends on the size of the property.

Why don't you just ask the water supplier?
Good idea (sort of). Not that easy to get the person who could tell me, but got there eventually.

Seems the answer is £35+/-.

Thanks to all for responses.
