Hello,

I'm new on this forum.
I'm looking for informations about annual production of small series sport cars manufacturers like Catheram, Apal, Strathcarron, Wiesmann, etc, etc, etc ... in UK and other european countries.
If any body could tell me were I could find this kind of information ...

Thanks in advance !
Phil

This sort of information is very difficult to come by, Phil, because manufacturers don't like releasing such sensitive information. Last time I hear, best guess was that Westfield were selling about 500 kits per year, though they may have improved on that with the recent boom in track days and bike-engined cars.

Plenty of small specialists would consider themselves to be doing extremely well if annual production reached double figures...there ain't many millionaire specialist car producers! (was it Peter Wheeler of TVR who said that the best way to make a small fortune out of building cars was to start with a big one?)

Caterham average around 500 to 600. In their best ever year (1990 ish) they made 800 odd.
