Did you check with Ted that you could advertise?

Hmmmm... Just checked your website, and it's not to the standard I would expect for recruiting at the top level. Please take this comment in a positive way, but it's probably the most amateur recruitment site I've ever seen - I wouldn't shortlist your company based on that presentation. Sorry. Take a look at some top-league agencies, and I'm sure you'll see what I mean.

Says 'page not displayed' now...

Best remove 'Executive Headhunter' from the URL!

I'm prepared to take more relaxed view of things in the business to business section.

When I click on 'Current Opportunities' nothing happens....at all.

Is this an indication that you have no current jobs available or is it just a poorly designed site ?

All you need is to get me to redesign your site
I will make you look as pro as you can for a very reasonable fee, see my profile for my web site with contacts.

we do not tend to pro-actively work on behalf of a candidate, however if you do register with us we will contact you if a suitable position arises.

Its much more candidate driven these days, why would you only contact them if a position arises, be pro-active, not reactive, if a good candidate does approach you (with a better website layout) reverse market them out, beats waiting for the phone to ring...

Just my 2pence worth...

I echo the comments that your website sucks!

My other half is doing some work for a similar company name and I think their website is a good example of what your should be more like:

www.normanbroadbent.com/

Nah, that is far too fiddly to use, over designed IMHO. All jiggly graphics and no content. Lordy big flash intro and then 2/3's of the page is stuff which does nowt???

Please don't take this as anything other than improvement opportunities but this site tells me nothing. I would never get to look at it because my HR dept would have culled it before it got to the head of HR, let alone to me. You need, as a minimum, to communicate the following:

Your Value Proposition to the market
Your sector focus
Your market insight
Case studies & testamonials

Sorry to add to the negativity here, but I doubt I would bother with an organisation with a website of such poor (dare I say amateur) web site.

I also echo Clapham993's comments - and why should I choose your company over another?

I would also bear in mind that your whole profile and anything you contribute to PH build up peoples preconceptions...why would I use a headhunting firm run by a guy who states "Computer Geek but i'm no geek."

No offence intended.

I know, sorry if i caused offence. Its always good to scope the oppo in any business on line, to see how you can do better, and yes the NB is pro looking etc etc, but I reckon our friend here who started this thread can make his site a hell of a lot better than it is and easier to use and view than the NB site and others.
Again apologies to hughjayteens
