i seem to remember Daltons Weekly having that sort of stuff in it, as well as holiday cottages.

Daltons weekly is the newspaper to get. Out every Thursday and costs a £1.00 . I would recommend that you get a copy and then use the websites from then on. Please note that IMHO it is quite tiring on the eyes to read.

If its franchising you're interested in, there is a specific magazine (available at all good retailers) which I think is called Business Franchise

Why pay money for a franchise? You can set up a business without their costs. Talk to Ryan at www.latata.co.uk he will help you to get underway.

As stepej says, there is a specific franchise magazine, called Franchise (I think) which besides newsagents you might find in your local library.

Beware Dalton's Weekly because I can tell you for a fact that they happily run ads for total scams.
