Come to Perth instead - the climates better and the housing is cheaper - might earn less but it will take you 6 years to earn a UK salary anywhere down here !

Agree with Chunder... Perth is the place to be..... Especially if you like beaches, friendly people and the outdoor life.

I have a pal who lives in/near Perth (Bunbury if anyone knows it?).

She loves it there - she did tell me a domestic flight between Sydney-Perth works out around £170 which isn't too bad.

Unfortunately as the option has only arisen due to my boyfriends employers offering him the opportunity to work in Sydney, we can't choose whereabouts in Aus we end up!
