Hi all,

Im aware of Worldpay, but do any of you lot have any experiences of either Worldpay or other online processing companies?

Any info appreciated.

We have done a lot directly with Barclays EPDQ and it is pretty good.

Dontlift told me about Protx, no commision charging and no transaction costs

I use paypal, now owned by ebay. 4% fees on orders, no other charges, just setup a "euro" office in ireland.

Yep, if you take CCs a lot it's good value. But my CC usage is very sporadic (most pay by cheque or BACS), and I'd prefer not to be tied into a monthly overhead. It costs about 3% per transaction: some clients go for it; other don't.

I see your point but we have quite a few low value transactions £20 or below each week and the Protx one is the best we managed to get on.

The world Pay fees would have taken a chunk out of our profit for the sale and i dont wanna be losing money on low cost popular products.

I second protx if you do regular transactions - worldpay or paypal are OK for occasional personal use.

Have a look at www.securehosting.com, they charge a flat fee with a yearly fee for the service. I used to use Protx but found their service to be a little unreliable, I had around 30 emails over christmas from customers that couldnt pay by credit card on my store. since i moved to Secure hosting i havent had any issues with online processing.
