Thought I'd try amongst fellow PHer's before getting the Yellow Pages out.
Birmingham- Mid February- Domestic Loft conversion- requiring 8/9 twin 13a sockets, pin spots in ceiling, smoke alarms via mains feed.
Must be NICEIC approved, because certificate will be required upon completion.
Please email via my profile if interested.
Thanks,
PF

You could always DIY then get electrictial to come and check the install and give you a certificate.. Plus you save some ££££

Or DIY and tehn get an electrician to come out, point out all the lethal mistakes and re-do it all for you .

I'm ok to do the work myself, but I simply have not got the time(moving business premises also), and to ensure any possible future sale of the house goes smoothly, I want the work done to the required standard, with the correct certificates......but thanks for the advise anyway.
Any contractors out there??????

I think your going a little over the top wanting NICEIC! Any sparks with 16th or even 15th edition will know exactly whats what and will be easier/cheaper to find.

Best of luck!

Paul.

Pauls right, NICEIC tends to be company registration, sole traders / electricians usually have 16th edt IEE regs. If you have any problems with completions certs give me a shout as I am a CEng.
Paul thanks for giving Mike the chance, I appriciate it. Alan
