Anybody out there involved in the insurance industry who can get me a quote for learner drivers in a group 19 or 20 car??? Please help. I am willing to pay sensible money and have a large policy excess.

Martin,

Was that the wisest choice of background image for your 'learn in a performance car' page on the website?

Ahh... I understand now having seen your website.

Is there really a market for learning basic driving skills in such cars?

Website pre 9/11, soon to be updated with new image and more content. The business works well, not because of the cars, but because of the service and end results. How many people on here have benefitted from further driver training but wanted to originally learn to drive as cheaply as possible.

Surely most of you on here who would have prefered to learn in a performance car with someone who knew more about fast cars than you did. I know I certainly would have done.

Don't want this to sound like an advert and hopefully it won't be binned as I haven't mentioned the business name. I'm just replying to queries.

That said, anyone know of anyone who can help with the insurance thing?

Fair point. There's certainly got to be a market for driving instructors that don't look/sound like librarians.

A friend of mine was looking into the world of performance hire cars and had to go to a specialist insurance brokers for advise. Different scenario I know but....

I suggest the same, a b2b insurance broker, must be someone on google you could at least talk to.
