Any business investors here?

A friend of mine works for a company in the music world that is just in the process of moving premesis. This is fine.

As part of this process they've indentified some investments they'd like to make to grow their business, by increasing their capacity in terms of kit and staff, and hence customer base since customers have a tendancy follow people not companies in this business.

However, they're lacking the investment needed to do this, despite the fact that thei business model going forward looks sound. Sounds like they're in the hole between what their bank will lend (secured loans only) and what VCs have to offer.
