Any one work in this field or know of anyone - preferably on the PR/Marketing/Editorial side of things.

Need to appoint a part-time consultant on behalf of a client.

Petrochemical/Hydrocarbon can cover quite a spectrum.

You could have:

the exploration/pumping side of it
refining
storage
or contamination clean up etc etc

All of which have marketting/PR departments.

Can you be a bit more specific what you are after?

Our client specialises in cleaning and refurbishing pipelines in-situ. What they do is very unique.

The guy who runs the company is quite a character and wants to become regarded as an industry "expert" - which he is but doesn't know how to promote himself as such.

We're doing a bit of PR for him and need to partner him with someone on the publicity side of the industry - such as magazine editor, journalist, etc - someone who can get him speaking engagements at conferences and the like.
