Equestrian products - can/should we drop ship them
Discussion
As mentioned on another post, my wife has just launched her new equestrian website. She is looking to get some equestrian products made that carry the logo for sale through the site, at shows and maybe for the odd giveaway.
Can anyone recommend a contact that would be able to help either in advice or provide the service?
Have seen a few companies in China that produce stuff such as horse blankets which can have the logo embroidered on them but looking for other stuff too.
Cheers
Kev
My Experience is that the Far East manufacturers are not best suited to drop shipping, they may produce 1000s of pieces a week / day adn ship them in bulk no problem. But when you ask the to ship each item individually then that’s when the problems happen as customer service (retail) is not their area of expertise. Parcels get lost stock damaged etc and they are not best placed to deal with the queries.
What kind of items are you looking to get manufactured?

Have got a few ideas on what SWMBO wants but it was dependant on what manufacturers had already in stock really. As the business is just starting up, she wanted to keep costs / storage at a minimium hence the drop ship idea.
Basically, anything that can or is being used in the equestrian field that could be logo'ed would be of interest....
Open to ideas about sourcing from other places though...

Somebody call?
Certainly can. We've looked in to this product type before, I probably even have some old factory price lists somewhere, but they would be a bit out of date now.
Don't even think about drop-shipping direct from China, for a whole heap of reasons I covered in another topic about drop-shipping only a couple of days ago, it's a non-starter.
Not sure how many of my posts you've read, but we source products, deal with factories on your behalf, arrange shipping to the UK, and dispatch to your customers all over Europe. Unless you really want to, there's no reason for you to ever see the products. You just choose them, wait, and market them when they arrive, it's pretty simple.
It's basically a way of running a small (or large) importing business at a fraction of the normal cost. Think of it as a buying syndicate where you have UK backup, and with staff in China too.
If you have a list of products, drop me a pm and I'll see what we can find for you.
