Dear All,

I wonder if any you could help me, and recommend a few job agencies (in/around West London) and web sites I can use to find a new job . I’m mainly looking for a permanent techie programming position (currently been doing backend web dev, but ideally would like to move into embedded systems [I would imagine I’d have to do a junior role as I’ve had no commercial work experience in the area])

it.jobserve.co.uk - they seem to get used by a fair few agencies. I tend to use it to monitor what's going on locally.

For IT jobs, jobserve certainly seems to be the most popular. Although quite a few agencies 'fish' for CVs on there as well... Depends which area you are in. Most of the time I have a couple of agents I know well come directly to me.. Again, depends on what you do.. Some agents and firms have their own sites or web pages, so it's sometimes good to do a bit of a look around those..
