Selling PDA's etc
Discussion
I think there's potential for re-selling these as part of a 'solution sell', really depends what market you're in. You might attract some SOHO/SME early adopters as part of a wireless solution. There might not be much margin in the device as a stand-alone but if it's part of say, a warehouse management system, then you can pile on services like config and installation.

which ever disty you use check out their returns policy. a lot of them want the original unit first unless you pay for an advance replacement.
i've been stung with this a few times. having to buy a new unit to replace a poorly but functioning unit and then it taking 2 months to get creditied with the cash back !!!
And i've had quite a few pds's go back.
Good luck i've never found a decent margin on this stuff. there always seems to be some dodgey internet company flogging retail at lower than reseller buy price !!!!!

Yeah have now completed signing up with a few of the official distibutors and their trade prices are roughly the same as Amazon and Expansys retail prices!
I've looked at this and getting stock from Hong Kong/China where the goods are very cheap (for this type of stuff it is anyway) and decided that it wasn't worth the hassle and that there would be little money to be made.
However, if anybody knows any buyers in clothing retail then I've got an interesting proposition...
