PH is growing and I need to consider moving into some kosha office space in the next six months. Looking at the options around High Wycombe/Bourne End/Marlow etc.

I don't need a great deal of space but it's looking like serviced offices are asking for silly money (still working on that one) or getting into an inflexible lease for something else.

Anyone got any suggestions or know of anything in this area that might be of interest?

Isnt the business park in Bourne End an enterprise council job?

Perhaps they would be a little more pliable?

Ted - Don't dimiss local authority offices/small units. We were renting a unit from the local council a few years back. Low rent (£100 a week, I don't know 3-400 sq/ft) Great get-out terms (1 months notice) all we had to do was return to original condition (lick of paint) We partitioned of a nice big office and had a small store room. They can be a little hard to find though.

Oh, and don't forget your'll need a bit of cabling for all that hardware!

Talk to the Council's Economic Development Unit. Up here they are very good and normally have lots of units on their database.

just tried mine, **** me!

I qualify for a tonne of benefits for a change! a white male, who'd have guessed! Apparently it's part of the young business scheme, which entitles me to a load of free help plus discounts over their offices (think the rough price was a third of the rent for about a year).

There may be the old Red Cross Buckinghamshire Headquarters on London Road available, just next to the Ford garage, opposite the cricket ground... Although not entirely sure of the cost, but they have vacated.

Depends on the size, plus number of workplaces needed..

Will ask a few people around there.. and see what they come back with

Thanks Phil. I've reassessed my plans since and am sticking with my current arrangements for the forseeable future.

Guessed from the post stamp that you were in and about where I used to live and mostly grew up! (Flackwell Heath)

A couple of options....

If you have a large garden you could stick in one of those wooden garden room / office things. The downside being when you really want to get away from work!

Try and buy another property in your name, lease it back to the company covering the loan repayments. Move the business there. This means you get a tame landlord (you) and a decent investment. This is our plan however it is getting the cash together for the second property which is proving to be the problem!

We have lots of space here if you want some of it, I promise you won't have to sit near bonce Mind you the commute will be somewhat tedious.
