Hi

I have used the Bay of E for almost 20 years now, just for myself, buying personal items like clothes, golf equipment, car parts watches etc etc and also for selling similar items when I no longer need them.

It seems recently that they have made it more difficult to sell things, in particular the 'no selling fees' thing...which makes it difficult to actually list the exact selling price you want the buyers to see on the listing.

The latest change is on the postage..... if I understand it correctly, it seems to me that they are forcing sellers to use the new ebay conduit. I would prefer to use my own posting choice and set my own price for that : it is not just the ' cost of the stamp ' but the time taken.

Does anyone have any idea about these issues?

You have to use them and they keep the postage money upon a sale. You get a postage "free" label.

I still use ebay for the occasional purchase but never sold on there for about 5 or 6 years. It just seems so user unfriendly to sell.
I've quite a few things, mostly car related that I no longer need or use that I could sell but I'll probably just take them to the tip and save myself the trouble.
