Xero bank feed - are any "live"

I use Virgin Money and Xero - the bank feed only refreshes once per day and can be up to 48hours behind i.e. transactiosn can be seen in my Virgin Money App, but even refreshing the Xero feed they won't appear for 24 or even 48 hours.

Are any of the bank feeds closer to live? i.e. if I click refresh will it actually refresh and bring through a transaction I've just made? I presume it's down to how often Virgin Money will push transactions to the API feed.

I don't think you'll find anyone who provides a live Open Banking feed. The APIs are rate limited and if Xero gave all of their customers free reign to refresh their banking data whenever they wanted, they'd quickly exceed their limits.

I use Monzo and FreeAgent; I get an update in the middle of the night and at about 9am. That seems to work, but it does mean that if someone pays me manually mid-day they won't get their payment confirmation until the following day.

Kashflow does.

I'm not sure how quick it is but it's certainly within a couple of hours on Xero using Starling.

Natwest and Kashflow was also pretty quick - stopped using Kashflow to standardise across businesses and tbh I don't miss it.

Kashflow is a bit marmite.

As a practice, we love it for the simplicity, but API development is pretty poor. Clients seem to either love it or hate it.

I generally find Starling updates with Xero within a few minutes, Metro seems to be about once or twice a day.

Does anyone have a reference / access to the API documentation? Can build a custom interface to poll it more frequently.
