Good morning.

I’ve taken over as treasurer of our village hall.

In an effort to modernise things, we’re introducing an online booking and invoicing system.

That system will integrate with most accounting software.

I’m looking for recommendations for a suitable accounting package. There’s no VAT or payroll to worry about - just a basic set of accounts for the charity commission return.

Xero will be more than adequate, it also seems a bit better than Quickbooks. Possibly Sage.

Quickbooks has gone downhill IMO and that of a lot of accountants. Go with Xero.

Thanks for the replies; Pistonheads can be remarkably useful, even for non-motoring stuff.
