We are just getting back in to B2C sales and would like to add a buy now pay later/short term 0% option to our site. We previously used V12 finance but dont want to go down the route of FCA authorisation and our product values are lower now so a short term plan such as Klarna would be easier.

It will be integrated on to a Shopify website and the main one we know is klarna but we are out of touch with these companies now and there seems to be a lot more out there.

Who are members currently using and at roughly what cost?

What countries do you expect your customers to be coming from? Search for the most popular option in each territory and offer them so you can leverage their brand recognition.

I see Klarna everywhere in the UK. Even yesterday in Schuh I learned that you can pay for socks in three easy installments.

90% UK customer base.

It seems Klarna are the main one so we will have a chat with them and see what they can offer.

You'll still need a CCL/FCA approval with Klarna etc though right?

Buy now pay later, short term finance (pay in 3 for example) you dont need it.
When you offer 12 - 60 months, 0%, interest bearing etc then you do.

Built into Shopify now

It’s an option in shop pay available on most subscriptions.

Lots of great new features just announced like pre order and split shipping built in.

Happy to help / chat

PayPal credit also worth looking at, and it's part of your bog standard PayPal account which you should have anyway for b2c. They also have the dynamic messaging for product pages "pay in 3 installments of £xx" etc.

We have decided to give PP a go, after talking to them we have already taken over £5k recently in PP credit without even knowing or advertising it.

We did want to add more advertising about this on the product page and checkout but it seems Shopify are difficult when it comes to doing so. Instead we will add it in the description and also on the home screen banners there will be a paypal 'pay in 3 finance free' logo.

PayPal were keen to get us away from Shopify, offering to beat there card fees and see what they can do in terms of finance options but it would then mean changing to a different platform (Wordpress) and I cant be chewed with the hassle and expense so will see how things go this year.

Standard Shopify charges a small % even if you use another card processor, if you make it to Shopify Plus this is not applicable and I put most onto Mollie
