I’m involved with a small agency and its costs seem to have rocketed recently / like lots of things.
Can I get feedback on this please and is personal accident usually included? I can’t recall having it at Velstar / DST ?

More context needed.

If for instance your revenue and wageroll have increased expect an increase in liability premiums.

PI market for design / marketing is flat so no rate increase would be expected.

What was your brokers advice?

As was under £1k we didn't use a broker just AXA -

Use a broker regardless of spend, you'll get good advice and somebody to do the hardwork of reviewing the market for you.

1k to AXA for a call centre service or £1k to the broker who will earn £250 and give you more value, plus you get to support a fellow SME at the same time.

We use AXA business insurance.

We did use a local broker for a few years, but they couldn’t get anywhere near AXA when we got a comparative quote. Been with AXA for about 7 years now, there premiums are always very good.

The only downsides are the lack of advice when purchasing, and that when you claim you aren’t represented

Can give you a recommendation for a broker in your neck of the woods if you want DS (just dm me your contact details if you do). I'd always use a broker, invaluable when it comes to needing to claim and you can explain the nuts & bolts of the business in a way that call centres can't cope with.
