Hi

I bought some speakers on ebay.
Paid freight but the guy dropped them off.

They were lasted as parts as foam surrounds on woofers needed doing.
Shortly after the guy left i noticed that one other driver was not working aswell.

So, the guy says to do it by ebay.
I think he expects me to send hem back.
They weigh around 35kg each.

So....what do i do?

there's nothing to show they were delivered.

although faulty as described, not all faults were described.

How will i get them back to him?
What should i do?

He seems to sell a lot of hifi.

Call eBay. You can get a callback through the help section on website.

Easy solution is asking for a partial refund to save the shipping hassle

do the above and when he accepts the return and provides a shipping label it will most likely be royal mail for 2KG.

You then need to get in touch with ebay and tell them the label provided by the seller does not cover the weight of the item to be returned.

Ebay then get in touch with the seller to point this out and its up to them to provide appropriate postage for the return.

I got the refund. No return.

I had contacted eBay by chat.
I got the impression they had a word with him even though not due to step in till friday.
I got a nice personal email from ebay.

So all good.

Good result for you. I expect seller is a bit cheesed off though as he's lost the money, the postage and his speakers.

The seller failed to mention that one midrange driver and a tweeter were not working.

They are worth about 100 pounds as is.

He turned out to be a trader.
The other item i was going to buy from him didn't work either.
I was going to buy that privately. Lucky escape.
