My wife created a new Etsy store to sell home made children’s activity books. Shortly after creation, Etsy closed it down without explanation, banned her from creating a new store, and when she appealed they sent a seemingly automated refusal within minutes. What can she do now to resolve this? The only issue she can think of is there was a £2.39 fee owing relating to the set up. It was in red suggesting it was unpaid, but she had paid a different fee and they had her credit card and bank details.

Contact them, I'm sure there's a proper procedure to follow.

If however that's difficult, I'd question why you'd want to use that platform in the first place. They were already highlighted for withholding peoples money.

I've never been able to find a phone number for Etsy.

Would it be worthwhile contacting them via message on Facebook or twitter and that might get a better response.
