More of a transport question than a business question but...
Last week I ordered some tyres from mytyres.co.uk. Great. Then a moment after placing the order I saw they were in Hanover, Germany...
Then I got to wondering how and by what route they'd get here. Would it be into a lorry then RoRo boat to Harwich? Or a container on a container ship to Felixstowe?

On investigation it turns out they were too big for the selected fitters so they refused to accept them.
- and unhelpfully didn't bother to tell you so you could get them fitted somewhere else...!I'm using a local garage that already knows the car, not one of the 'partner' Kwik-Fit types.
They were bloody awful (hope this doesn’t break N&S rules). Ordered, got email saying (literally) ‘The items were sent out on 6.02.2024 and will probably arrive on 12.02.2024.’ (note ‘probably’).
They arrived in the 16th to the fitting depot, but they didn’t include my contact details, so when I rang the depot they said ‘oh, we were wondering who those were for’. They told the depot I’d paid for fitting as well, but I hadn’t (I was honest).
