Any recommendations for business bank accounts?

I am running the UK operation of an international company. Our manufacturing and finance dept is in New Zealand. Corporate management is in USA. Account will need to be accessed by people in 3 different countries.

Needs good online access (browser rather than app) & the ability to speak to someone when needed. Will involve lots of international payments (both directions), no physical cash involved. Thanks.

If its going to involve more than £5M/year talk to Handelsbanken
If they were still in my home town I would never have moved my account.

We’ve used Lloyds, HSBC, Cooperative, Barclays, Revolut and NAT WEST and still have accounts with most of them. They have all been poor in their own way, but HSBC and Barclays have absolutely excelled at not giving a fk.

We needed a new account this week and used Nat West. Of the bunch they do seem to actually care a bit. Also they have a weird nepotism thing going on, whereby if you have any Nat West accounts you can access otherwise inaccessible products in associated businesses, for example Lombard asset finance.

The reason we don’t use app based banks much is because when they mess up it can be hard to get things resolved.
