Thankyou for any help!
Claim against the retailer or manufacturer for warranty-related defects:

I purchased windows, and they exhibited manufacturing issues from the day of installation. Since then, these issues, particularly paint creasing, have arisen. These problems should be covered under the manufacturer's 5-year warranty.

The retailer has ceased communication, while the manufacturer initially expressed willingness to visit the site and i
nspect the issues. However, they later withdrew this offer, asserting that my contract is with the retailer. They did acknowledge that the windows should not have left the factory in this condition.

As the retailer appears unresponsive and I suspect they might go out of business, I am considering whether I can make a claim against the manufacturer for not honoring the warranty and failing to address these evident manufacturing issues. I have doubts about the retailer's willingness to pay for any necessary remedies.

Your contract is with the retailer so if they're ignoring you it looks like Small Claims then I'm afraid, and do it soon before they go out of business.

Always use a CC for anything important or if you think the seller might be dodgy.
