A friend sent me a parcel using a tracked service with parcelfore.

He either want given or has lost the paper with the tracking no on it.
He just has the payment receipt.

Parelforce helpline goes nowhere.

Will they be able to track it using Collection/delivery addrEsses?
in case i need to make a claim.

He sent it, and paid for the shipping, so you won't have the ability to make a claim. Tell him to check his pockets/ashtray again. I suspect Parcelforce MIGHT be able to find it using postcodes, but they almost certainly won't help you to find it.

Not sure this will help, but after a huge saga with a failed delivery I sent an email to a named director at Parcelforce (sorry, I can’t recall who I sent it to, but it wasn’t a CEO). I then got a call from the ‘exec’ team who promised to find the missing parcels for me. I didn’t have a tracking number that was recognised but based on delivery and pickup addresses they said they could help.

And they did, they found the parcels. Really great service from the exec team at Parcel Force! Maybe have a hunt for an email address online for someone senior and get in contact that way?

TL:DR? The reason they found my parcel was because it had never been picked up from the seller. I’d paid for an organised pickup and deliver to me, and the seller repeatedly told me it had been picked up - but it hadn’t! I was red faced having been adamant to Parcelforce that they’d lost the parcel, when it was actually the sellers fault and my parcel was still sat in their warehouse. Parcelforce took it well.
