Hello folks

We are getting t shirts made for promotional purposes and I'm surprised at how much this is costing

For front and back printing and a basic t shirt, cost is £7 or thereabouts. More for a better quality t shirt.

We'd be happy to place an order for 200+ t shirts but looking for a much keener price. Any pointers?

Printing is £2 per side so we will probably scale back and print on one side only but beyond that, costs seem pretty fixed.

£7 is cheap - the T shirt will be sub fruit of the loom I’d guess do get samples.

You could buy the shirts yourself to guarantee quality from Ralawise or Stanley & Stella then find a printer.

Workwear printers are very quiet right now try them

£7 each printed both sides is CHEAP.

I used to do screen printing.

Imagine to have to have an operator set up, load, print, dry, re-load, re-print, dry, pack 200x. That's a lot of work.

okay

maybe I should rephrase this

what will be the cheapest way of getting our artwork on to a t shirt? Say one side only. Say 1000 pieces order in a variety of sizes. Quality can be low

thank you to the chap who emailed me. Partner will be in touch because he's got the artwork etc

What sort of artwork is it? just a logo, single colour?

The CHEAPEST option would be to buy iron-on transfers and apply them yourself with an iron.

thanks

it would be a logo with some text. logo does have two colours but we could make it one colour to save costs

iron on is an option maybe. i might even be inclined to buy a billy basic press because i think free t shirts is going to remain a thing for us so maybe there's some long term saving in buying a press
