SIPP / Office purchase

Hi

I’m looking (again) at buying an office with my SIPP and running my business from there. To do this I’ll need to borrow some money to top up the cash I have in my SIPP. I know I can borrow up to 50% of the SIPP value from a commercial lender, but my question is whether I can personally lend that cash to my SIPP on commercial terms?

I can’t put the cash into the SIPP as my contributions are already maxed.

Are your contributions maxed from the previous 3 years too?

Yes, used up all the last few years too.

Yes you can personally lend to your SIPP, but it will be up to the SIPP provider whether or not they will allow you to.
