The Opposite of Trustpilot - Businesses reviewing customers
Discussion
Had a thought earlier while discussing a problem customer with one our ecom clients. This particular customer was just ridiculous to the point where our client was going to let them keep the product in question (£15 item) and send the refund just to stop having to communicate with her LOL.
They get some nutters from time to time and it dawned on me that customers have free reign to leave bad reviews for businesses but not the other way round. A simple plugin linked into the orders database could match certain metrics and highlight a problem customer saving the company money in the long run dealing with returns, elongated customer service etc etc
Obviously data protection comes into play here if you provided full customer data but if you were picky with the data, ie used only part of the email address, 3 digits from the postcode, 4 digits from the telephone number and the customers name was John Smith then are you actually pin pointing a specific person? There are probably a lot of John Smiths in Blackburn so have you broken any rules.
Not looking to turn this into a service, just something we've been discussing in the office. What do you think, over to you business owners?

A small percentage of customers are an absolute nightmare.I try to use every interaction as a learning for processes or product information etc but some people are just horrible to deal with.
Have called a few out recently for being exceprionally rude and especially the racist one 'two Asian men in an unmarked van' had the temerity to try to leave their parcel with a neighbour.
They forget there is a human at the other end of the phone or email. Gets you down some days.
