I am looking at options to buy a virtual local number with the only option of forwarding to my current mobile.

I don't want any voip facility, or to run through an app, I just want caller to ring the 'landline' number, and for all inbound calls to go to my mobile. All outbound calls as such will be dialled from the mobile as usual.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to who they use for such a service?

Thanks,

Dan

We have an out of hours emergency number with Switchboard Free.

It then redirects any calls to the number to a group of mobile numbers, trying them one at a time like a hunt group.

I use https://www.telecomsworld.com/ costs about £6 a month for a generic local number, which diverts to a mobile which also (at times) diverts to an answering service..

No issues with them whatsoever and they had a choice of numbers, so you can try and find something reasonably memorable as well

I use a VOIP phone and forward it to my mobile. No one would know the difference.

11 quid a month from Vonage.
