Google business listing disabled
Discussion
Just noticed that our nice listing on Google has been removed, so all our testimonials, images and details that are usually on the side of the screen are gone.
I checked into this and it is because we have fallen foul, probably, of one of their updates. The stupid thing is that it doesn't tell you which ones. We haven't changed a thing on them and there isn't anything obvious, it's all basic stuff. It's probably just an error on their part.
Now we have to apply to Google to check it out, which, knowing them, will take forever. FFS. Big companies are the bane of our business lives.
Might be worth keeping an eye on your guys...

I've seen similar with a client where they had two similar but distinct businesses running from the same premises, and Google considered them duplicates.
I think I also saw a case where an online company was claiming to have a physical premises but it wasn't open for visitors so was removed.
Not sure if either applies to you, but good luck! The best way to get hold of someone at Google is via Google Ads if you are spending with them.

GMB is free advertising though, right? I checked into this and it is because we have fallen foul, probably, of one of their updates. The stupid thing is that it doesn't tell you which ones. Thanks. We have Chargebase.co.uk, which is our EV charging business at our address plus, more recently Chargebase.uk, which is our solar business. I wonder if that was anything to do with it?I think I also saw a case where an online company was claiming to have a physical premises but it wasn't open for visitors so was removed.
