I have a Wordpress web site for a side business and I want to start taking payments and receiving orders via the site (only two purchase options so you shouldn't be too complicated??)

Well established business (25 years in existence) banks with Natwest if that matters.

Does anyone here offer this service or point me in the right direction of how to do it?

The web designer for this particular web site has moved on and AWOL.....

If designer has moved on - do you have relevant hosting login and/or source code?

I put a small business online via https://www.ecwid.com/ - the base offering for us was approx £150pa all hosted by them with a ssl certificate. Adding all products, Stripe payment etc was fairly painless (my day job is IT thought!) You can get a Ecwid > wordpress plug-in so worth a look. I dont use the SEO, google ads, facebook integration etc though

We use WooCommerce (Storefront theme) and Stripe payments. Seems to work well for us.

I've set up Stripe to accept the payments and uploaded the 2 products and pricing etc.

Now to integrate that into the Wordpress web site. I'll have to do some reading!

WooCommerce and Stripe is the way to go. Super easy to set up and maintain.

Plenty of guides and YouTube videos on how to do it. WooCommerce has a ton of features like virtual products, discount coupons etc.

All sorted now thank you! Sam Turner - Server Shack, sorted us out. A bit more complicated than anticipated, due to the WordPress site being out of date. But a great service and price.

It removes a few process steps for me and also makes it much easier for the customer to order and pay. A very small part of the business at the moment, but I can only see it growing and fairly quickly.
