Any Restaurateurs Here?

I have a mind to open a bar/restaurant and as someone who doesn't have any direct experience in the industry I wondered if you had any pointers or advice for me (like "dont do it".

As it stands it is still at the idea stage, I know where it would be and the style that would suit the area and I believe the potential is there.

Any thoughts?
