Hi,
I have the domain for my website purelyflyfishing.com registered with Firevision, however they have gone into liquidation and the site no longer works.

How to I get the forwarding working again?

Thanks,
William

This happened to me a few years ago, but with a .co.uk domain.

Then I contacted Nominet who arranged for the domain Tag to be tranferred to another hosting company of my choice.

I guess you need to contact the registry agency for your domain and do the same.

OK,

the good news is that the domain isnt locked.

The bad news is that the admin contact is

Administrative Contact:
Briggs, Graham graham@firevision.co.uk

I HATE it when hosts do this, its underhand!
The list themselves as admin contact, as opposed to the OWNER! This means that any transfer request you make will have to be approved BY Graham@firevision.co.uk

You could try completing a Transfer request for it, and just hoping someone there accepts it, failing that, you will need to contact the regitrar (TUCOWS) and explain the situation to them.

IF you want to try a transfer, the official sponsor of the Pistonheads Computing Forum is

www.Register1.net

Just do a search for the domain, then hit TRANSFER when it comes up telling you its gone.

Feel free to mail me via profile if you need any more info.
