Can anyone offer any predictions about the way the Euro/GBP exchange rate is likely to move in the next 12 months?

The pound has been strengthing against the Euro and seems to have settle around the 0.69-0.7 level but not too long ago it was nearer 0.67.

I'm finding that getting paid in Great British Pounds and moving it over to a Euro bank account I'm down about 200 Euro a month and it's starting to bite a bit.

Just wondering whether to expect it to get any worse or better?

many thanks

Also, if anyone knows any good web sites to track this kind of information I'd be grateful of a URL or two.

I'm in a similar position and I'm wondering whether I should buy future euros to fix the rate or take a gamble. I'd guess we'd get as many opinions for as against so in the end it's up to you. Do you use one the exchange companies - currencies4less or xe.com? You can place future orders with them.

I hope I didn't make any spelling mistakes!

Only been here since beginning of December and to be honest I've just been cashing Sterling cheques directly into my Irish Account.

However I've got a meeting with my accountant tomorrow morning so no doubt this topic will come up.

Just wondered what the PH massiv had to say on the subject.

Eric, you are mightily pressent yet quiet for a money matters post, you know something we don't?
